Brave Pig Vineyards
I finally got around to creating some spec packaging mockups for a wine brand. To be clear, it is a fictional brand, but this was a fun one to build. Brave Pig Vineyards.
I took some inspiration from the following. A little bit from the saying When Pigs Fly. I love any pig with wings character, and it makes me happy. Additionally, “When Pigs Fly” on Wikipedia is a cute story about John Moore-Brabazon, 1st Baron Brabazon of Tara, who took a piglet with him on board an airplane in 1909. Which was the 1st pig to fly… so brave, right?  This spoke to me, and it is a super cute story. Also, Pink Floyd’s Animals is one of my favorite album covers.
The bold and bright colors highlight the woodcut vibe of the pig illustration, which is simple, clean, and would stand out on the shelf. I grabbed some Photoshop template files for product mockups, which are simple and fun to use. Along those lines, I’ve been experimenting with some Gen AI product images, which will scale my design production well.
This brand experiment is part of my new awareness project on my packaging design services for the wine, spirits, and cannabis industry, where you can learn more at our wine & spirits page.
